Q2 2026 13F Review: SpaceX Leads New Positions, Amazon Leads Adds
2026-08-30 · GuruTrack Editorial
Bottom line
As of June 30, 2026 (Q2 2026), the 33 gurus currently tracked by GuruTrack disclosed 7,714 securities and roughly $1.16 trillion in reported long market value. The clearest pattern this quarter: recently appearing securities dominate the new-position list; Amazon and Alphabet drew broad adds; and Meta, NVIDIA, Microsoft and TSMC rank near the top of the trim list.

Most-opened new positions
“New” means a security changed from not held to held within GuruTrack's tracked sample. It does not mean the security newly listed, nor does it imply market-wide institutional consensus.
- SpaceX (SPCX) — 10 gurus opened
- Cerebras Systems (CBRS) — 8
- FedEx Freight (FDXF), X-energy (XE), Carnival (CCL) and Alamar Biosciences (ALMR) — 6 each
Names and symbols such as SPCX, CBRS and FDXF are normalized from the securities named in filings. Citations should retain both the specific GuruTrack page's original-filing link and the data quarter.
Most-added positions
- Amazon (AMZN) — 10 gurus added
- Alphabet Class A (GOOGL) — 8
- Alphabet Class C (GOOG) and Carvana (CVNA) — 7 each
- Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), TSMC (TSM), Visa (V) and Kenvue (KVUE) — 6 each
Alphabet's Class A and Class C shares are separate securities, so the ranking lists them separately. Their holder counts should not be added as if they represented distinct managers.
Most-trimmed / closed positions
- Meta (META) — 12 gurus trimmed
- NVIDIA (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT) and TSMC (TSM) — 11 each
- Broadcom (AVGO) — 9
- Apple (AAPL), Sandisk (SNDK) and Spotify (SPOT) — 8 each
TSMC appears on both the add and trim lists, evidence of disagreement inside the sample—not a uniform bullish or bearish view. Manager-count rankings answer how many tracked filers took an action; they do not show each position's size, trade timing or realized profit and loss.
Crowding: most widely held
- TSMC (TSM) — held by 20 gurus
- Alphabet Class A (GOOGL) — 19
- Amazon (AMZN) — 17
- Meta (META) — 16
- NVIDIA (NVDA) — 15
- Alphabet Class C (GOOG) and Microsoft (MSFT) — 14 each
AI-compute and platform companies remain the sample's main overlap by holder count. Yet the substantial overlap between add and trim lists points to two-way repositioning within leaders, not one simple “smart money” signal.
How to use this review correctly
Is this real-time positioning? No. Form 13F is a quarter-end snapshot generally published no later than 45 days after quarter-end. A position may have changed by the time the filing appears.
Do guru counts represent the whole market? No. They describe GuruTrack's current sample of 33 tracked filers and are best used to study agreement and disagreement inside that sample.
Can this calculate actual returns? No. Form 13F does not disclose a complete trade path and omits shorts, cash, most bonds and many foreign assets. Price changes shown by GuruTrack are a research view, not actual P&L.
